Two doors up is Country Style's "Country Chef of the Year" Steve Cumper's restaurant, The Red Velvet Lounge, open for lunch throughout the week, and dinner on Friday and Saturday.
Lunch at The Lotus Eaters Cafe (1 minute's walk away) is a must for Cygnet visitors.
The Cygnet Art Hotel (5 minutes walk away) hosts The Black Swan Restaurant. Open for dinner Thursday to Monday.
Two village pubs offer hearty lunches and dinners throughout the week.
Fleurtys, Peppermint Bay, Home Hill Winery, Hartzview Vineyard and Grandvewe Cheesery are all within 20 minutes drive away.
For one weekend every January, the Cygnet Folk Festival attracts thousands of music-loving visitors to the township. The Old Bank is a short walk away from all music venues, including the Town Hall (two doors down) and Carmel Hall (across the street). Cygnet is a great base for exploring the Huon Valley, with attractions such as Bruny Island, the Tahune Air Walk, Hastings Caves and the Ida Bay Heritage Railway all within day-tripping distance. Cygnet is also the home of the Gourmet Farmer, Matthew Evans, whose series on SBS featured many local producers and the region's charming scenery.
